I took that route once, but it never stuck with me, although I really am quite fond of my first facebook note bringing layman's Freudian analysis to the shower v. bath discussion. (What a nerd, geez.)

Anyway, the xanga just "feels" right to me despite how stupid "xanga" sounds. I don't know why. To an extent I would like other people to read what I'm writing, but I've yet to decide how many. With xanga I think it's like 5, and they are all from very different walks of life, so I guess I'm getting a representative read. In AP English lit our teacher talked about the importance of "place" in Toni Morrison's "Beloved", and since the topic didn't reach out and grab me, I never used it in a paper, but now I "get" it with xanga as we expand our definition of "place" to include the digital.
